Flexographic Prepress Services

Artech provides flexographic prepress for published applications including labels, flexible packaging, cartons, tags and shrink sleeves.

Artwork and file preparation

Services include preflight, production artwork, technical consultation, distortion, trapping, colour correction, imposition and step-and-repeat. We provide final production file preparation and flexographic file optimization, file troubleshooting, and overflow and backup prepress.

Published artwork checks cover supplied artwork, colour separations, cutbacks, screen angles and colour correction.

Distortion and packaging review

Distortion support includes shrink-sleeve and label artwork. A 3D PDF preview uses final artwork and packaging specifications to review structure, panels, graphics and presentation. It is a digital preview; confirm the required review deliverable for your project.

Proofing options

Published options include Epson proofing, 3D PDF proofing, and Kodak Approval-style proofing where applicable. Epson proofing supports review of colour, layout, graphics, text, barcodes and packaging details. Confirm your proofing requirements; this description does not specify certified colour tolerances.

Barcode artwork

Barcode artwork includes UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN, ITF, QR and Code 39. If your buyer requires accredited barcode verification or a particular grade, identify that requirement separately before proceeding.

Production support inquiry

Our published support scope includes complex files, rerun consistency, urgent production support, and backup or overflow needs. Include your artwork, press information, substrate, deadline and plate requirements so the project can be assessed. Confirm availability and timing for an urgent job.

Proof approval before plate production

Customer approval of the proof is required before plate production. Confirm the artwork, content and print requirements with Artech so the approved design can be prepared for the actual press and application.

Graphics and print-related support help translate design intent into production-ready artwork. Equipment calibration and monitoring, together with job-specific plate-floor, UV/exposure and curing checks, support production quality without promising certified tolerances or guaranteed outcomes.
